The newest BIDMC Retail Pharmacy is located front and center of the medical center’s east campus. Conveniently located in the Shapiro Building’s main lobby, the new full-service retail pharmacy provides services to both patients and employees of BIDMC. The state-of-the-art pharmacy includes a “Med to Bed” program, a service that hand-delivers medications to patients as they are discharged.

isgenuity designed the space with both patients and employees in mind. The metal panel façade and wood-look desk complement the existing finishes in the lobby. The splash of color contributes to the modern crispness of BIDMC’s desired aesthetic. The pharmacy work area was designed to be as open as possible to provide pharmacy staff views throughout the space to increase the potential for communication, productivity and efficiency.
