isgenuity was engaged to design a new Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinic for Boston Medical Center in Hyde Park. The focus of the design was to create an environment that optimizes the patient experience, while creating a very efficient workflow for staff. An open plan concept was applied to the therapy area, which was positioned directly adjacent to the exercise area and private therapy rooms. Staff take advantage of bedside mobile workstations and a centralized documentation area. This project was also designed in consideration of patients of size, where enlarged door openings, increased capacity fixtures and ceiling mounted lifts were incorporated.
