The sixth floor intensive care unit in the Connell Building at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center mirrors and continues the efficiency of the planning and workflow logic demonstrated in the ICU on the fifth floor. Patients are afforded access to natural daylighting and panoramic views of the city, promoting a comfortable and calming patient experience for the ten new beds provided.

The application of boom technology, specialized ICU monitoring equipment, and patient lift systems required close and detailed coordination among the isgenuity project team, consultants, and vendors throughout design and construction.
